Sickle Cell is an inherited blood disease that affects the red blood cells. Its when a person's body does not produce enough red blood cells to carry oxygen throughout the body. In sickle cell, the blood cells dies off every 10-20 days making it hard for their body to keep up producing healthy red blood cells.
