Sickle Cell & My Sons Journey

Sickle Cell is an inherited blood disease that affects the red blood cells. Its when a person's body does not produce enough red blood cells to carry oxygen throughout the body. In sickle cell, the blood cells dies off every 10-20 days making it hard for their body to keep up producing healthy red blood cells. When this happens, the blood gets stuck and trapped in the vessels and can lead to chronic pain, strokes, organ damage, and unfortunately death.

Many people think a person with sickle cell have to suffer from this disease but the truth is, you do not have to suffer, you can have quality of life. My son suffered multiple crisis at the age of one years old but shortly after that horrific year, I started researching natural alternatives to help my son overcome this debilitating disease. After educating myself on natural plant based foods and supplements that helps the body naturally produce red blood cells, Aiden has not had a crisis in 8 years.

I owe all of this to God and His medicine cabinet. God has given us everything we need to sustain our health and we must wake up and realize that it was not meant for us to be sick and if we are sick, we can go to the herbs for healing. The key is knowing which herb to use for each chronic condition we have in this life.

Today, Aiden is 9years old and he is completely healthy, he lives life to the fullest! After relocating to Seattle, WA where the weather is cooler and it rains a lot, Aiden is still doing amazing. This is his daily regimen: He takes 1 Even Flo on a daily basis without fail; on rainy days (especially with him playing in the rain during recess at school), I give him 2-3 Even Flo's on these days. This ensures that his body will continue to produce healthy red blood cells and prevent them from getting sticky and stuck in the vessels. He also takes Virid (natural antibiotic by Healing Blends Global) and he takes a 30 billion probiotic daily and this keeps all the good bacteria in the gut and keeps the gut healthy and this is extremely important because our gut makes up 80% of our immune system. Lastly, he take 5,000IU of D3 daily as well as 30mg of Zinc.

Education is Key and Knowledge is Power ~ But only if we apply it!
